Niven Family Wine Estates Winemaker Dinner

luella restaurant is honored to host the Niven Family Wine
Estates. The Nivens’ are
known as pioneers of the San Luis Obispo wine industry and are highly regarded
for their ecological business practices. Their two estate vineyards, Paragon
and Firepeak, have received Sustainability in Practice certification. After graduating
from the University of Dijon, Christian Roguenant has traveled all over the world
practicing his craft. He signed on as winemaker in 1999 and has gained international
recognition with their collection of wines which include Baileyana, Tangent,
Trenza and Cadre. Christian continues to receive high praise for his expertise
and his ability to showcase the integrity of each type of grape.
